  • Over-sized Genes Introduction - TraitUP™ platform can introduce large or multiple DNA sequences (for expression or silencing) in parallel. For example, it enables the introduction of an entire biosynthetic pathway of the anti-fungal antibiotic Pyrrolnitrin (PRN), as a complete operon. The PRN operon is a 7Kb DNA transcription unit.
  • Protection Against Partially Manageable and Non-Manageable Threats - TraitUP™ has proven to provide a protective solution against HLB in Citrus , Xylela in vines, Fusarium and Rhizoctonia in flowers and vegetables, Zebra Chip in potatoes as well as TYLCV in tomatoes. Some of these diseases today have no manageable solution, although the damages to crops are measured in billions of dollars, damages which Morflora’s technology may significantly reduce.
